.001 What You're Paying For

This page explains what you pay for, when we do and don’t give refunds, how to cancel, and what happens after you cancel, for subscriptions you buy online at checkout for the High Roads Conversion Studio (the “Service”). It is part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service. If anything here conflicts with a signed order you have with us, that signed order controls for that account. This policy applies to self-serve online subscriptions paid by card.

By completing checkout, you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service.

  • A one-time setup fee, charged now, at signup (and again whenever you start a new funnel). This pays for building and configuring that funnel.
  • A recurring platform fee for each funnel. There is no free trial. Recurring billing for a funnel starts when that funnel goes live (built and approved), not at signup. The time between signup and go-live is your onboarding / build period: you have already paid the setup fee and we are building your funnel.
  • At go-live, we charge a full billing period and your billing date is set to that go-live date. Future charges recur on that same date (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you chose). Your first charge is not prorated. If you add a funnel later, that funnel is prorated onto your current billing period so it lines up with your existing cycle. The exact billing date is shown to you at or around go-live.
  • You have one account subscription, priced by how many funnels are live: the first live funnel is $750 per month and each additional live funnel is $350 per month (annual is ten times the monthly rate, so two months are free). You choose monthly or annual once, and that interval applies to your whole account. Cancelling a funnel lowers your live-funnel count and re-balances your fee; it does not end your account or your other funnels.
  • Early Bird pricing (current promotion). Right now your first funnel’s setup is $2,000 Standard or $3,500 Expanded, and its first live-funnel fee is $499 per month for the first 12 months on a monthly plan, then $750 per month. Additional funnels are standard-priced. The refund and non-refundable rules below apply to the amount actually charged.

.002 Minimum Term

Self-serve subscriptions have a 3-month minimum term for each funnel, starting on that funnel’s go-live date. You can cancel at any time, but cancellation cannot take effect before the end of that 3-month minimum, and the fees for the minimum term are payable.

.003 Monthly Vs. Annual

  • One interval for your whole account. You choose monthly or annual once, at signup, and that interval applies to your entire account and every funnel on it. You cannot run some funnels monthly and others annual.
  • Monthly plans continue and bill each month until you cancel.
  • Annual plans are a full-year commitment. You pay for the year up front (annual pricing already includes two months free versus monthly), and the plan auto-renews for another year unless you cancel before the renewal date. If you cancel an annual plan partway through the year, your funnel stays active through the end of the paid year, and we do not refund the unused months. The full-year commitment and the auto-renewal are shown to you conspicuously at checkout, before you pay.

.004 Setup Fees Are Non-Refundable Once We Start

Each funnel’s setup fee is non-refundable once build work on that funnel begins. For your first funnel, that point is reached once branding or the funnel questionnaire is completed. For each additional funnel, it is reached once that funnel’s own intake form is completed. Before that point, you may contact us at terms@highroads.io to request cancellation of a not-yet-started setup. If we refund the setup of one funnel, that refund applies only to that funnel: your account, your other funnels, and their billing continue unaffected.

.005 The 30-Day Correction Window Is Support, Not A Refund

For 30 days after your funnel goes live, we will make reasonable corrections to what we delivered: funnel configuration, branding, and routing defects covered by your plan. This correction window is a support commitment, not an automatic refund, and it does not cover new features, additional funnels, vertical changes, scope expansion, or redesigns (those are change orders and may cost extra). See the correction-period section of our Terms of Service for detail.

.006 Refunds Are Discretionary

Aside from any refund we are required by law to give, fees already paid are non-refundable, including recurring fees for a period that has already started and the unused portion of an annual plan. We may, at our discretion, issue a courtesy or corrective refund on a case-by-case basis, for example a genuine billing error. Requesting a refund is not a guarantee of one. To ask, email terms@highroads.io.

.007 How To Cancel, And What Happens Next

You can cancel a funnel at any time from Billing in your dashboard settings (select the funnel and schedule cancellation), or by emailing terms@highroads.io. Because you have one account subscription priced by funnel count, cancelling one funnel lowers your live-funnel count and re-balances your fee without ending your account or your other funnels. Cancel each funnel you want to stop.

  • When cancellation takes effect. If you cancel a funnel before the end of its 3-month minimum term, cancellation takes effect at the end of that minimum term, and the funnel keeps running and remains billable until then. After the minimum term, a funnel is month-to-month and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access through the time you have already paid for, and we do not give mid-period refunds for the remainder of a period you have cancelled.
  • What happens to the funnel: it goes dormant, it is not deleted. When a cancellation takes effect, the funnel goes dormant: it stops capturing new submissions, but your existing lead data is kept, not deleted, and remains viewable and exportable. You can re-enable a dormant funnel later (recurring billing resumes when you do). Deletion of data is a separate request, handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

.008 Missed Payments Are Different From Cancelling

If a recurring payment fails, that is not a cancellation. We retry the charge automatically on a smart schedule for up to about four weeks. If those retries do not succeed, the funnel moves to a “coming soon” holding state and your dashboard becomes read-only (you can still view and export your existing leads, but new changes are blocked) until payment is fixed. This is fully reversible the moment payment succeeds. This read-only, non-payment state is separate from the dormant state above: a dormant funnel is one you chose to cancel; a read-only funnel is one with a payment we could not collect.

.009 Taxes And Usage Overages

Fees are stated exclusive of tax. Where we are required to collect sales, use, or similar taxes, they will be added at checkout or on your invoice. We never charge per lead: captured leads and lead alerts are unlimited. Usage overages are limited to infrastructure allotments (submission-confirmation emails and media storage) as described in our Terms of Service; overage is billed on your next invoice or to your card and is not refundable once incurred.

.010 Please Talk To Us Before Disputing A Charge

If you think something was billed wrong, please contact us first at terms@highroads.io before filing a card chargeback or dispute. We can almost always sort out a billing question faster directly, and we want the chance to make it right. Filing a chargeback for a charge that is valid under this policy and our Terms (for example, a fee for service already provided or a non-refundable setup fee after onboarding kickoff) may result in suspension of the affected funnel while the dispute is resolved.

.011 Your State-Law Rights

Nothing in this policy or our Terms takes away rights you cannot waive under the consumer-protection or automatic-renewal laws of the state where you live or do business. Where a non-waivable state law gives you a cancellation, refund, renewal-reminder, or “click-to-cancel” right that is greater than what this policy provides, that law applies to you and controls to the extent of any conflict. Our general governing-law and venue terms are in the Terms of Service.
